Owner and founder Thad Bonduris carefully selects instructors based on professionalism, prestige, and presence in the community. All of our instructors are professionally trained, love what they do, and are passionate about teaching music. They are also experienced performers who regularly play with various bands and ensembles throughout the DFW metroplex and beyond.

Thad Bonduris: Guitar, Theory, Jazz, Electric Bass

Owner and founder Thad Bonduris has been playing professionally since his teens, and currently holds a Masters in Music Education from the University of North Texas. He has worked with musicians like Chris McCarty, George Strait, Bubba Hernandez, Arthur Barrow, Mario Cruz, and Greg Bissonette, and is currently a member of Local Yoakam and Le Not-So-Hot Klub du Denton. 

Jeffrey Barnes: Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute

Jeffrey Barnes has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. Although he is well-known for his membership in the Grammy-award winning band Brave Combo, he has also played with numerous other bands, in a wide variety of musical styles including rock, blues, classical, jazz, country, folk, and world music. Jeffrey can teach most woodwind instruments, and can focus on any style of music


Adaline Cherry: Guitar, Ukulele, Voice, Piano, Brass

Adaline Cherry co-teaches the KinderRock class as well as lessons in guitar, voice and piano. She also plays euphonium, trombone and trumpet. She was involved in choir, band and theater in high school and then moved to Denton to attend Texas Woman's University for a degree in music education. Other than teaching, she is the frontman and trumpet player for ska-punk band, Madaline.

Leoncarlo Canlas: Violin, Viola, Production

Carlo Canlas attended the University of North Texas for violin performance. He has performed with symphony orchestras in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana, and collaborated with a number of bands in the studio and on the road, including The Polyphonic Spree, Dave Brubeck, Alejandro Escovedo, George Clinton, and Seryn. He currently performs around DFW under the name Leoncarlo

Steve Hill: Drums, Percussion

Steve Hill has been professionally playing percussion since age 15 and is a graduate of the University of North Texas. He has toured throughout the US and abroad, and has recorded and performed  with artists like the Baptist Generals, John Zorn, and producer Steve Albini. He has been teaching for over twenty years, and is well versed in drums, mallets, concert and marching snare, and various other percussion instruments


Paul LeBlanc: Classical Guitar

Paul LeBlanc grew up around music, and his musical upbringing inspired him to receive his Bachelors in Music at Wayne State University, followed by his Masters and Doctorate of Musical Arts in guitar performance at the University of North Texas, where he currently serves as a professor, a private lessons instructor, and ensemble coordinator. In addition to collaborations with UNT faculty, he has also performed with the Dallas and Fort Worth operas. He is particularly skilled with teaching beginners, and instilling a love of guitar.

Dan Dockrill: Guitar


Dan Dockrill has been playing guitar since age 15, has been teaching guitar since age 16, and by age 17, was playing jazz regularly around Cleveland, OH, where he grew up. He moved to Denton to study at the University of North Texas, under Fred Hamilton. Currently, he is working and touring with numerous national acts, including R. Stevie Moore, Warren Jackson Hearne, and Le Leek Electrique.

Kevin Pyle: Piano, Keyboard

Kevin Pyle has over thirty years of performance and teaching experience. He earned degrees in Music Theory and Composition, and has studied privately with Lyle Mays and Lee Tomboulian. In his teaching, he offers a comprehensive understanding of the music at hand with added focus on theory, ear training, sight reading and historical perspective. Kevin offers lessons to children (ages 6 and up) and adults
